About Us

The HPCRC offers an Internet connected computer lab equipped with basic programs and MS Office, elementary education tutorials, Adult Basic Education, English as a Second Language, as well as preparation and enrollment in GED courses held at Springwood Middle School.   Trained volunteers from the community will tutor, teach basic computer classes, and provide life-coaching.  A quiet study area with books furnished by the Poplar Creek library will be available.

The Resource Center will be open to adults and youth on Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and is free of charge.  Youth under the age of 18 must have a parent come to the center to register them personally.

The  HPCRC is an undertaking of the Hanover Park Community Resource Coalition, a non-profit organization which is forming from a grass-roots effort brought about by DuCap (DuPage County Area Projects), Living Christ Lutheran Church, Evangel Assembly of God, Mayor Rod Craig, Keeneyville School Dist #20, and the residents of Greenbrook Tanglewood and Sierra Blanca subdivisions.

We are housed within Living Christ Lutheran Church located at 1402 Arlington Drive in Hanover Park (the blue church on the corner of Arlington Dr and Greenbrook Blvd.)  For more information call Pastor Jennie at the church office 630-837-2100 or Gayle Peneschi from DuCap at 630-671-8005.

Mission Statement:
